Creating and Managing CTE at Your School

Nationally, almost every student who completes high school enrolls in at least one CTE course. Schools provide these opportunities in a variety of ways. Some offer exploratory courses only. Still others organize the school into smaller communities or academies or even structure an entire school around a broad industry or career sector. The resources included in this section provide guidance on some of the logistics of offering various types of coordinated academic and technical education.
